Our main fire station was constructed in 2018. Operations officially moved here in October of 2018. This 13,000 square foot station is equipped with a large training room, kitchen, administrative offices, conference room, sleeping quarters and much more. Our paid staff are primarily based out of this station as well as our Tuesday night trainings. This apparatus this station houses are.......
Engine 42 is a 2014 Pierce Saber carrying 750 gallons of water supplied by a 2000 GPM pump. It is equipped with basic equipment needed for firefighting including (various ladders, fire hose, and hand tools). Also equipped with a set of Hurst Auto Extrication equipment, lift and stabilizing struts, medical supplies and an AED, as well as our Rope Rescue Equipment and a 4-gas monitor, It responds first out for all fires and motor vehicle accidents within our district.
Engine 43 is a 1996 FL-80, Freightliner Engine. Equipped with 1000 gallons of water and a 1500 gallon per minute pump, it is outfitted with all basic tools and equipment needed for firefighting including (various ladders, fire hose, hand tools, etc). It responds second out to all fires within our protection area as well as any other calls as needed.
This truck is also outfitted to serve as the departments "service company" to satisfy ISO requirements.
Tanker 43 is a 1999 Chevrolet Tanker. Equipped with 2000 gallons of water and a 500 gallon per minute pump, it responds to any type of fire within our protection area.
Squad 41 is a 2007 Ford F-550. Bought new with the assistance of a FEMA (Assistance to Firefighter Grant) it is equipped with a "Skid Unit" with 300 gallons of water with an on board Class A Foam System. Also equipped with medical supplies including an AED. Squad 41 is first out to respond to all Medical First Response calls as well as any wildland types fire.
